Inter Europol is a family-owned company with Polish capital and is the leading bread producer in Poland. The company's extensive range includes both fresh and frozen products, which are delivered daily to consumers throughout the EU and many other countries on different continents. Inter Europol has a fully automated high bay warehouse with a capacity of approximately 20,000 pallets. The direct connection of the warehouse to the production line enables the receipt of loaded pallets 24/7 (about 100 pallets per hour). The material flow control system, PSImfc, not only controls the automation, but also performs selected functions of the WMS system. The scope of the system includes continuous monitoring of pallet movement, including re-freezing, and control of the loading sequence. The combination of MFC, ERP and SSI SCHAEFER warehouse automation functionality has enabled the implementation of an automated and efficient 24/7 pallet storage and retrieval process.
